Patrol Method
DUTIES:
PATROL LEADER
1) Make sure that all tasks assigned to the
patrol get done.
2) Lead the patrol on campouts and hikes.
3) Delegate any task that he cannot do to others in patrol
4) Make duty roster for campouts.
5) Make emergency action phone plan
6) Know how to do all patrol tasks, i.e. Menus,
dues, equipment
lists.
7) Organize the patrol.
8) Lead through example.
9) Know when to ask for help.
ASSISTANT PATROL LEADER
1) Fill
in for the Patrol leader when he can not be there.
2) Do all tasks assigned
to him by the patrol leader.
3) Lead the patrol through
example.
4) Know when to ask for help.
QUARTERMASTER
1) Do all tasks assigned to him by the patrol
leader
2) Keep track of all patrol equipment.
A) Know who has what piece of equipment.
B) Know which pieces of equipment has been return.
C) Make sure that equipment is in good condition. i.e.
ax,
hand ax, and saws are sharp.
D) Inform proper people if equipment needs repair or
replacement.
SCRIBE
1) Do all tasks assigned to him by the patrol
leader
2) Take Dues every meeting.
3) Keep track of who owes what in the patrol.
MENU-MASTER
1) Do all tasks assigned to him by the patrol
leader.
2) Make up all menus for campouts.
3) Keep a record of dinners, lunches, and breakfasts.
4) Make sure someone is in charge of doing
the shopping for the
event.
5) Make meals balanced and cost effective.
6) Make sure that any money left over or short is divided equal
among those attending the event.
